
Admitted to practice in California, Robert is authorized to appear in the Central and Southern Federal District Courts, as well as the U.S. Tax Court.
A South Bay native, Robert returned to Southern California after receiving his J.D. from the University Of Illinois College of Law, Cum Laude, in 2013. Robert served as Notes Editor for the Journal of Law, Technology, and Policy, and, in addition to working as an editor, Robert’s piece The “Amazon Tax” Issue: Washing Away the Requirement of Physical Presence for Sales Tax Jurisdiction Over Internet Businesses was published and recently cited in an Illinois Supreme Court case. Prior to attending law school, Robert attended the University of California, Irvine, graduating with a B.A. in English after earning his diploma from Mira Costa High School.
Robert’s practice includes helping clients with legacy planning, gifting strategies designed to mitigate tax liability, and resolving disputes related to trusts or wills. Robert works with business owners as well, particularly with respect to major events involving their businesses, their entities, and their assets. Lastly, Robert frequently works with clients to plan transactions and resolve issues surrounding real property transfers, including preparation of deeds and preparing tax reassessment appeals.
Robert currently resides in Torrance, with his wife, Crystl.
