Ernie Panasci received his B.S.
from St. Louis University and received his law degree and masters in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, D.C.
After working for the National Office of the Internal Revenue Service in Washington, D.C.
for approximately three years, Ernie moved to Denver, Colorado and began his career in private practice. Early in his career in private practice, Ernie began to focus on the areas of financial institutions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, corporate finance, debt and equity offerings and corporate governance. Ernie is a trusted advisor to financial institutions about all facets of the business. He frequently works with companies in raising capital through the issuance of subordinated debentures, other forms of debt securities and the sale of equity securities through both public and private offerings. Ernie focuses his practice throughout the Western United States, including the States of California, Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming, Montana, Arizona, Idaho, and Washington.
Ernie is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the New York Bar Association, the California Bar Association and the Arizona Bar Association. Ernie has been awarded the highest rating by the national rating organization Martindale Hubbell: AV, meaning preeminent/high legal ability/very high ethical standards. Ernie is a regular speaker to banks, their boards of directors and banking associations.
Ernie’s experience buttresses his legal representation of financial services institutions by his practical experience of having served on the boards of directors of several banks and bank holding companies. Ernie currently serves as a member of the board of directors of a bank in Denver, Colorado. This practical experience is invaluable in applying his board experiences to the legal services he provides.
